**About The Job**:
**Responsibilities**:**

**Legal Advisory**
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents for JTB Europe Group’s global businesses, with a focus on the Asian sales markets.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks across the organization, and liaise with relevant divisions to ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to our businesses and our internal departments (HR, Finance, and IT) on a variety of issues.
- Conduct research on a variety of topics including travel and tourism law, corporate law, data protection, regulatory matters, intellectual. property, and general compliance. Provide concise summaries and recommendations to senior counsel, management and the businesses.
- Manage intellectual property rights.
- Provide legal advice on M&A projects.
- Manage and organize legal documentation, maintain legal databases, and track compliance and litigation deadlines matters.
- Conduct internal trainings on legal and contract matters.

**Litigation and Dispute Resolution**
- Manage and review progress of outstanding disputes and investigations.
- Provide legal support in settlement negotiations and other dispute resolution processes.
- Assist in managing external counsel in connection with litigation matters.
- Report litigation and investigation progress to management.

**Compliance**
- Assist in maintaining the company’s compliance management system.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of group policies and provide advice on their interpretation.
- Conduct internal compliance investigations.
- Provide compliance trainings.
- Liaise with relevant authorities if necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Law degree (LLB/LLM/JD) from an accredited institution.
- Admission to the state bar, where applicable, is considered an asset.
- At least 2 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or at a reputable law firm.
- Expertise in corporate law, commercial contracts, and general business law.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
