Wood is currently recruiting for a HVAC Supervisor to join our team for a large-scale challenging construction project. We are looking for individuals with expertise and experience who are ready to take on new challenges and assist us achieve excellence in schedule, safety, and quality.

**What makes you remarkable?**
- Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables
- Supervises all areas on small projects or a subset / discipline area on larger projects
- Responsible for management and execution of a single field discipline or subset of assigned construction projects in accordance with the requirements of the contract between the company and the client, and in accordance with the company's operating policies and principles
- Responsible for the execution of the work in accordance with quality standards and requirements specified for the project
- Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned discipline / subset of site construction. Utilize Commercial processes to capture variations effectively
- Management of installation, commissioning and completion activities for facilities and equipment.
- Ability to monitor work progress and report against plan
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their areas of control
- Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes within their areas of control, including toolbox meetings, inspections, and the identification, assessment and control of risks in accordance with company and client requirements
- Understand and manage the industrial relations environment impacting the site and report any issues as required
- Works with engineering in the design phases to influence the design for optimum constructability
- High School, Vocation, Diploma, bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical or related field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in piping fabrication / erection work
- Extensive track record managing Mechanical Construction activities within Refinery or Petrochemical sector
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Considerable experience of supervising contractor to achieve effective construction execution
- Bachelor’s degree, Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or related field
- Register Safety Officer at Supervisor level
- Register Safety Officer at Supervisor level
- Good HSES awareness and commitment including skill and knowledge in preparation of Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment
- Fluent in English communication and written
- Good team leadership in technical, interpersonal and communication skill
- Good Problem solving - Ability to identify problems, determines possible solution, and actively works to resolve issues
- Good Decision making - Knowledge of and ability to use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions and / or reaching conclusions. Ability to take action consistent with available facts, constraints and anticipated consequences
