We ask employees to be present in the office at least three days per week. **_ Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone?_** **JOB TITLE: Coordinator I - Construction, Piping** **General** - Supervising construction activities and field personnel related to mechanical, piping, painting, insulation, refractory and fireproofing discipline. - Conduct tool box talks - Monitoring daily construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures and with the project objectives for safety, quality, productivity and schedule - Monitor daily progress in his area - Promotes job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately. Regularly participation in HSE meetings, daily jobsite walks, conducts toolbox talks and keep records. - Build right first time in line with QinC initiative and put maximum efforts to get inspection records signed off with no/minimum punch list items. - Implement construction work processes, project procedures and instructions within assigned operations. - Prepare reports relating to construction progress, job manpower forecasts etc. - Alert Construction Manager or Construction Superintendent whenever any aspect of the work does not comply with the contract requirements or is being performed outside of the contract scope. - Attend subcontract/cost awareness sessions and understand the Responsibility matrices, BOQ & preambles of subcontract. - Provide solutions to subcontractor’s problems in order to achieve the successful execution of the project. Verify that the material handed over to the Subcontractor is controlled, preserved and issued for the intended purpose. - Serves as a coach and mentor for less experienced staff - Input site construction feedback in Construction Observation Form - Closely monitor additional work of Site Instruction until work is completed and to inform Subcontracts team for closure of Site Instruction. **Discipline Specific - Mechanical & Piping** - Noteworthy knowledge on rotating equipment installation/maintenance; of Gas Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Steam Turbines, and their auxiliaries (lube oil system, fuel gas system, seal gas system, steam system etc) supervisor lifting teams in the lifting of rotary machinery and coordinate with subcontractor and inspection of validity of lifting equipment, conduct preliminary checks to ensure ground conditions are good for installation. - Able to understand a material packing list and identify the material required for the installation. - The Ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings (section DWG; construction DWG; P&ID; Levelling and alignment specification, Soft-foot specification, flushing/blowing procedure; piping specification; spring supports hot-alignment methods) **Knowledge & Qualifications** - 6+ Mechanical and Piping site experience in direct hire construction with an international oil & gas EPC company and with subcontractors - 6+ HVAC site experience in direct hire construction with an international oil & gas EPC company and with subcontractors - Experience working in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS/FSU), Middle East, and/or North Africa - Prior experience working with a diverse international workforce **Skills & Competencies**: - Good communications skills - Have a thorough working knowledge of International Codes and Standards, specifically ASME and API Codes/practices, and specifications. - Has knowledge and experience to solve mechanical / HVAC, piping, painting, insulation, refractory and fireproofing issues onsite and provide guidance to subcontractors. - Analytic and problem-solving skills together with good interpersonal and organizational skills English fluency both spoken and written.
