- Department: Commercial- Location: Thailand- Oversee and drive the over-all sales and growth of the category
- Translate business unit objective and strategies to developing the right product portfolio and plans to facilitate business unit revenue and profit growth of Thailand
- Develop & execute category plans while managing the day-to-day business and contributing to the larger team’s development; manage and develop associate members of the category team
- Ensure Lazada has the widest assortment and most competitive pricing in the market through massive vendor acquisition of local marketplace sellers and brands, leveraging on competitive intelligence to drive pricing and relevant product offerings
- To be fully responsible for the implementation of strategies as agreed with stakeholders
- Lead business analysis and insights on appropriate product selection for the market while developing on-line merchandising and promotion proposals to achieve sales targets
- Planning competitive promotions that deliver incremental sales to the business and delivering within the time frame as well as the accuracy of the promotional price in the system
- Implement regional initiatives and work closely with other internal teams to drive category growth (Traffic Operations, Seller Operations, Global Ops, Strategy and Planning, Finance, Product Team)
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree from a leading university
- At least 5-7 years of e-commerce, retail, business development, project management role or
business management experience, ideally in category management across multiple
categories; e-commerce experience an advantage
- Able to leverage data points and market analysis to form actionable insights and
recommendations
- Self-motivated, highly adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-changing and fluid environment
- Superb business judgment; has been recognized as an effective manager with hands-on
experience in business and data analytics
- Exceptional relationship development skills at all levels; with proven track record in successful
negotiations and relationship management (both internal and external)
- Strong industry background would be a plus
- Strong ownership and attention to details
- Passion about improving both customer and brand experiences
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Deadline-driven, with excellent planning and organizational skills
- Good computer literacy
