Job Description:
Reports to: Managing Director

Location: Thonglor, Bangkok

Our client, a commercial explosives manufacturer, is expanding its operations in South-East Asia and seeks an experienced and dependable IT Manager to join their team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead IT support and develop IT resource plans with effective people management.
- Oversee infrastructure upgrade projects and manage IT CAPEX & OPEX budgets.
- Coordinate computer leasing arrangements and maintain all IT hardware, networks, and infrastructure assets.
- Monitor and manage Wi-Fi controllers and administer Non-ERP servers.
- Evaluate vendor performance and schedule PM with vendors.
- Administer Microsoft Active Directory and manage firewall functions and configurations.
- Provide technical support to end-users and manage the IT help desk to log issues and provide long-term solutions.
- Maintain and monitor Non-ERP backup systems and conduct inductions and IT Policy for new employees.
- Monitor and report on the performance of IT systems and services and conduct IA documents.

Skills and Proficiencies:

- Proficient in Windows Batch Script OS Platforms: Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Familiar with Linux Storage Systems: IBM Storage, Virtualization: VMware ESXi, and ERP Oracle E-Business suites.
- Experienced in Database systems: MS SQL, Backup, Oracle, and Software: Symantec Backup, VEEAM Backup.
- Skilled in System Infrastructure and Network Administration with MS Windows Servers/AIX/Linux/Unix operating systems and Virtualized systems (VMware).
- Familiar with OPC Server and Basic PLC, Security tools such as Fort iGATE Firewall, Kaspersky, Cisco, and Aruba network equipment.
- Strong analytical ability and planning/organizational skills with expertise in disaster recovery planning.

**Requirements**:

- MS in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field.
- Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, computer hardware/software systems, and enterprise architecture.
- Ability to manage IT teams to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent communication and data reporting skills to management.
