Sustainability and Impact Lead

Can you wear many hats?_ If you answered yes to all, then this could be the start of something special. **PALO IT** has opened an exciting new position for a **Sustainability and Impact Lead **to take the lead on our positive impact journey in Thailand in the context of rapid growth, global expansion with "tech for good" ambitions, and new tech innovation offerings. **Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with leads, hive masters, employees and others sustainability leads around the world**, **you will drive the development and delivery of our business impact strategy.** You will be responsible for formulating our strategic approach, constructing roadmap and short - and long-term plan to deliver on our positive impact trajectory with the following OKRs: - Becoming a climate net-zero company - Attaining 50% of revenue from projects with a positive impact - Training 100% of our workforce on impact - Achieving B Corp certification among all 11 of our offices across the globe - Attaining 90% happy employees at PALO IT **_ Immediate priorities will be:_** - Setting up and managing the deployment of the local impact roadmap, in coordination with global swarm, with success metrics for each OKR of our positive impact transformation journey - Developing and scaling new offerings on green IT, digital carbon footprint, ESG data strategy, impact design, general awareness, etc. Supporting the sales team in the presale phase to promote our sustainable design offer - Driving the B-Corp certification and sustaining actions. Identifying, co-creating and supporting the implementation of the initiatives necessary to transform. Coordinating and rallying together employees around those initiatives and improving our own impact significatively, following up and improving those actions - Joining forces with the palowans (Palo IT team) to build a pioneering operating model and strategy for Palo IT to become highly performing, resilient, and have a systemic positive impact on our ecosystem - Supporting each hive in embedding impact and sustainability in their own roadmaps - Sponsoring the Impact Innovation Lab, building meaningful relationships with relevant business and impact partners in Thailand - Identifying key trends and opportunities for us to expand our competitive strategy with social and environmental impact at core - Representing us at events and networking venues in the impact ecosystem - Raising awareness, growing our people and becoming the ambassador of good practices internally - Working closely with other group main functions like marketing teams and sales teams to identify and/or trigger tech4good business opportunities. Launching and delivering projects in this field to match Palo IT Global OKRs **YOU AGAIN**: We are looking for someone with the following mindset, skillset and background: - Fluent in English. Thai appreciated - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline or related field - Passion for sustainability along with a strong, proven understanding of the positive impact business landscape - 5-8 years of experience working with investors or companies on ESG/sustainability issues while in a leadership position - Strong leader with an ability to think strategically and contextually, and to anticipate the needs and expectations of executive leaders - Autonomous, action-oriented and a 'doer'. You will have to demonstrate fast your ability to deliver concrete, actionable plans and produce new offers - Quick learner with clear, intellectual curiosity and a proven track record of being a self-starter - Adaptable, with a proven ability to manage the demands of multiple stakeholders, and ready and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Empathic and optimistic mindset, with an attitude grounded in 'servant leadership' - Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to read information/situations from varying perspectives and tailor messages to suit different audiences **Your role as PALO IT Ambassador** You will be invited to take part in R&D works done within our Practices. You will have the chance to assist or be a speaker at must-attend international IT conferences. You will have the opportunity to write articles for our Blog or specialized press.
