Medical Interpreter Mandarin/ English Speaker

Grupo Noa International is a leading language service provider that offers translation and interpretation services to clients worldwide. We are currently seeking a **Mandarin Interpreter** to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As a **Mandarin Non-US Interpreter**, you will be responsible for providing accurate and professional interpretation services to clients in the medical, financial, insurance, and social fields through VRI OPI. This includes interpreting between **M-speaking**patients and professionals, as well as assisting with written translations as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide on-demand VRI and OPI interpretation services for appointments, consultations, and procedures
- Interpret accurately and efficiently between **Mandarin**-speaking LEP and professionals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and codes of ethics
- Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure high-quality services are provided to clients
- Stay up-to-date with medical and financial terminology and procedures to ensure accurate interpretation
- Handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively

**Requirements**:

- 1 years of experience as an OPI and VRI interpreter**.
- Fluent in **Mandarin**and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages
- No previous experience as an interpreter is required. Experience as a translator is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and OPI protocols and procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable internet connection and access to necessary technology for remote work
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and codes of ethics
- You will be paid for the hours of connecting whether you get calls or not.

**Technical Requirements**:
1. Minimum 8GB RAM

2. Minimum 8th gen processor (i5, i7 or newer and 8GB RAM) / Ryzen 3000 series or newer. Must be at least 2.0 Ghz

3. 10MB Download and 10MB Upload Speed with latency lower than 100 ms

4. Must have USB Headsets

5. Must have a LAN Cable connection

**Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8 hours shift plus 30 min on non-paid lunch break.**

Operational Hours: 5:00 am to 12:00 am Pacific Time US (PST)

Client will assign the shift during the onboarding process.
