Our client, a respected global bank is looking for an ambitious, results driven Chief Financial Officer to focus on Financial Control, Regulatory Reporting & FP&A. You will oversee the team management as well as implementing effective controls over relevant systems. This role will involve significant internal and external stakeholder management at all levels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the planning, organisation and control of daily financial control activities relating to the business
- Develop, review and facilitate operational procedures and workflows in order to maximise efficiency and minimise risk
- Initiate and manage both projects and enterprises to improve regulatory reporting processes and to meet the changing needs of regulatory and reporting requirements
- Responsible for the accurate preparation and timely submission of both statutory and regulatory reports
- Responsible for Statutory Audits and Financial Reporting and Accounts Verification
- Accountability for all tax matters relating to the business

**Prerequisites for role**:

- 17-22 years post-qualified experience within the financial services industry with strong financial control and regulatory reporting functions in a global banking environment and a working knowledge of regulatory requirements
- The ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo and outstanding communication skills are essential skills for this role
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent essential
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
