**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor located in Bangkok City, Thailand.

1) To take the lead in commercial / procurement team

2) Work closely with Design / Project Management teams on costing works

3) Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

4) Responsible for taking off measurement and project’s claim

5) Liaising with contractors (request and review quotation, managing clarification and negotiation)

6) Preparing reports - Invoices from contracts

7) Procurement - Keeping track of materials and ordering as and when required

8) Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.

9) To manage & keep track of project and work closely with project management team on project final account

10) To source for existing and new vendors, compilation of quotation and competitive price

11) Keep track of vendors claim and prepare month end payment report

12) Ad-hoc duties

**Qualifications**
- Cost Control and Cost Management skills
- Experience in creating and managing BOQs (Bills of Quantities)
- Excellent Cost Planning and Cost Reporting skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field

Other qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in the design and construction industry, knowledge of building regulations, cost modeling, and estimating. A certification from a relevant professional organization such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is also desired.
