**Job Summary**:
First Line Manager - Commercial - Business Development to drive strategic growth and lead initiatives in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) within the power industry. This role focuses on gas-fired power stations and projects supporting the low-carbon energy transition. We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to make a meaningful impact.

**Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Due Diligence Leadership**: Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams and external advisors to deliver comprehensive analyses, risk assessments, and valuation insights, including identifying upside opportunities.
- **Project Feasibility & Screening**: Conduct initial screenings and analyses of projects, evaluating technical, commercial, contractual, and financial aspects to recommend suitable acquisition opportunities aligned with corporate strategy.
- **M&A Execution**: Identify, evaluate, and drive M&A opportunities, leading due diligence and negotiations to secure deals that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- **Financial Modeling & Reporting**: Develop and refine advanced financial models, creating detailed investment analyses and actionable reports for stakeholders.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**: Collaborate with internal and external parties to gather essential information, ensuring effective project evaluations and successful M&A transactions.

**Strategic Communication**: Prepare and deliver insightful reports and presentations to senior management, providing clear recommendations to guide decision-making.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 years of experience in the power or financial sectors, with a strong focus on business development and project management.
- Proven expertise in large-scale M&A transactions, including target identification and negotiation support, is highly preferred.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a TOEIC score of at least 800.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Advanced financial modeling skills and mastery of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- **Personal Attributes**: Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and eager to learn. Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
