Transferz is seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Manager (APAC) to lead the team of Destination Managers and drive the success of our operations in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of Destination Managers, creating and implementing regional strategies, and continuously improving our ground transportation services. This role will directly report into the Global Head of Operations based in our HQ in Amsterdam. This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand.

**What will you do?**

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Destination Managers within the APAC region.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture to achieve operational excellence.

**Strategic Planning**:

- Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with Transferz's global objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of regional plans.

**Performance Management**:

- Set clear performance metrics and targets for Destination Managers, tracking their progress.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for professional development.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational processes and service quality.
- Implement best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of ground transportation services in the APAC region.

**Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including transfer companies, to strengthen partnerships and optimize service delivery.
- Address and resolve issues related to regional operations, ensuring a positive and collaborative working relationship.

**Data-Driven Decision Making**:

- Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and drive performance improvements.
- Work closely with the analytics team to derive actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

**Financial Management**:

- Monitor and manage financial performance within the APAC region, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Collaborate with Pricing Team to optimize pricing strategies and procurement processes

**What do you need?**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus;
- 5+ years leadership experience in overseeing regional operations in a startup/scaleup environment. Experience in the transportation (e.g. ride hailing) or travel industry is a plus;
- Can do attitude, self-driven, and consistently able to navigate through ambiguity;
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathetic in interactions with diverse individuals. Rapidly establishes connections with external partners and internal stakeholders;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- Proficient in English with excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal. Another Asian language is a big plus.
