**JOB PURPOSE**

Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) is an exciting growth category for Unilever, comprising of Skin Care and Hair Care businesses. Southeast Asia is a dynamic market for B&W, with opportunities across premium and masstige spaces, and we have some strong and iconic brands like Sunsilk, Dove, Vaseline, Pond’s, CLEAR, Tresemme, and Creamsilk. The Regional R&D Centre at Minburi, Bangkok has capabilities for Formulation/ Packaging / Consumer Insights and Processing. Any Nationality, able to work in Bangkok on local terms.

**WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE**

**Thailand HBL Formulation Development**
- Leading and managing the product development lifecycle, ensuring the successful creation and launch of new products or renovation activities.
- Collaborate with cross functional team (key partner with marketing) including product design, process, claim and packaging to meet consumer needs and drive business growth and strategy.
- Lead and co-develop innovation program on TH HBL skin care category with business team and define R&D JTBDs.
- Formulation development that will meet the project brief, in accordance with safety and regulatory compliance, using an existing chassis when possible or developing something entirely new when needed.
- On time delivery of new product Innovations, sustainability, compliance and cost savings Program.
- Be HBL (Citra) TH representative in R&D in network meetings for both local and global teams meeting.
- Assist in project risk assessment and decision making.
- Complete technical transfer technical dockets, formulation specification finalization into system.
- Work with consumer insights team and packaging teams to assist in development of relevant claims and packaging
- Understand Unilever Policy, Code of Conduct and keep confidentiality of all Unilever's confidential document.

**Cambodia & Lao CCBT B&W R&D support**
- CCBT R&D Representative
- Point of contact for country activities that requires R&D input in these categories
- Responsible and accountable to deliver agreed R&D program in the country in close partnership with SEA regional R&D team.
- Delivery of all R&D elements OTIF
- Understand local insights/trends to provide relevant product recommendations and use effectively in creation of comms and MTI (Maximizing Technology Impact) assets for different audiences and channels
- Partner with brand team to develop key strategy/country roadmap, hence creating R&D JTBDs

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED**
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, engineering or equivalent experience in capability field.
- 3-6 years of experience in product development is preferable, Ability to think logically and be able to make decision at hands.
- Practical experience in Laboratory environments or Factory Processing is desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and solid presentation skills in English preferred
- Understand basic business & financial awareness
- Personally engaged with beauty products, rituals and communication is desirable
- Keep abreast of the current trend in beauty and personal care areas
- Demonstrates natural curiosity for consumer and shopper, competitor actions. Brings insights into project team and takes actions on them.
- Excellent team working skills and be able to work under pressure/complexity.
- Has a good knowledge of data/digital and exploit tools effectively to manage Data, Information & Knowledge effectively. Transform data into insight / actions.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
