**Position Title: AP Accountant**
**Reports to: Accounting Manager**
**Location: Bangkok**
**Job Summary**:
Newell Brands has transformed its Finance function into a shared services structure for Thailand.
The stated mission of shared service and transactional excellence is to drive “world class efficiency through standardization, leveraging resources, continuous improvement and high quality service”. The initiative is specifically designed to achieve these by standardizing processes, centralizing & automating controls, increasing the speed of close and ultimately achieving increased efficiency.
Accounting Payable representative/AP Accounting specialist are responsible in managing invoices are processed and paid on time and with high quality and according to Newell approval requirements and corporate policy and local compliances.
**Job Duties**:
- PO matching. Validate and verify invoices, book entries in SAP. Ensure accurate coding, conducting to corporate policy and local compliances and time manner. Filing invoices and supporting documents.
- Month end closing procedure: inter-company cross charge follow up and entry booking. Ensure all routine charge in correctly booked in system, Coordinate with GL team if accrual need to be arranged.
- Investigate and coordinate with relevant parties to clear outstanding items in GRIR report. Resolve PO issues to ensure proper posting in SAP.
- Monthly reconciliation of OOB report. Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve variances. Ensure intercompany balance variance is minimized.
- Review and post T&E claims.
- Withholding Tax filling and Input VAT filing to Revenue Department
- Other duties as assigned (if any)
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Accounting
- 5 years accounting experience in finance and accounting, preferable with Account Payable and Control
- Good writing and verbal English communication skill
- Good level Excel skill
- Attention to details, good time management skill, problem solving skills, and Inter person
