**Responsibilities**:
A IP Strategy and Management:

- Develop and implement strategies to protect the company's intellectual property assets, including patents, trademarks,

copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Advise on the acquisition, maintenance, and enforcement of IP rights.
- Conduct IP due diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.

B Trademark and Copyright:

- Conduct trademark searches and clearances, assess risks, and manage trademark registrations.
- Oversee the creation, registration, and enforcement of copyrights.
- Advise on branding strategies and the use of third-party IP, including software licenses and open-source compliance.

C Patent Law:

- Collaborate with inventors and product teams to identify patentable inventions.
- Monitor patent portfolios and provide guidance on patent infringement risks.

D IP Litigation and Enforcement:

- Manage IP litigation and disputes, including coordinating with external counsel.
- Enforce the company's IP rights against infringers and defend against third-party claims.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements related to IP disputes.

E Contracts and Licensing:

- Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing, confidentiality, and collaboration agreements.
- Review and advise on IP clauses in commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and partnership deals.

F Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with relevant IP laws and regulations.
- Conduct IP audits and develop policies and procedures to safeguard the company's IP assets.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on IP-related matters.

G Advisory Role:

- Stay current with changes in IP laws and regulations, and provide strategic advice to the executive team.
- Support business development and marketing teams in creating IP-compliant strategies and materials.

**Requirements**:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in intellectual property law, preferably in the tech industry.
- Proven track record in managing IP portfolios, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Strong understanding of software and technology-related IP issues.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Familiarity with international IP laws and experience in handling cross-border IP matters is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with IP litigation and dispute resolution.
- Background in a technical field (e.g., computer science, engineering) is advantageous.
- In-house legal experience in a tech company.
