Gle Asia Sun Rx

**Position**: GLE Asia Sun Rx (SUFI) Manager

**Location**: Ladkrabang, Bangkok

**Mission - Purpose of the job**:
Within Group Lenses Engineering (GLE), the Team Manager supervises a group of technicians and engineers, who are process and equipments experts. She/He also ensures the expertise in his field within the World Manufacturing Operations. She/he has a clear vision of the activity and communicates to his/her team as a guide.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure the Industrial development of new products and technologies, and the roll out

For any project, Check resources availability and assign activities to them

Participate and sometimes approve validation plans, pilots contracts,

Anticipate, add value and implement the technology plan

Ensure the consistency of the decisions and actions between different activities

Ensure the customer’s satisfaction

Maintain the right level of information within GLE

2. Anticipate industrialization of new products and technologies

Communicate on a regular basis with GE Department / Roadmap managers in order to anticipate industrialisation works and identify collaboration areas upstream.

Take part in feasibility and/or R&D programs

**Animate the Technology Watch for the team**: visits, exhibitions

3. Ensure the development of the expertise in the team

Define the expertise level to achieve in the team (short term, mid term), in both fields of process and equipments

Support his team members when necessary

Check the efficiency of the training plan through the achievements in the activity.

Develop the general level of the team (English, communication, leadership )

Contribute to Skill Matrix for the Department

4. Capitalize on knowledge, promote and reinforce expertise sharing in technologies, processes and products

Ensure good sharing of technical information with Global Engineerings and Operations Zones during industrialization

Ensure consistence between process and equipment activities (priorities, technical decisions )

Organize and ensure trough his team, training to Global Engineerings and Operations Zones

Ensure whole documentation regarding products and technologies industrialization is written and communicated.

Ensure that the process flow of the RtE, Pilot Contract, Study Request and Projectare well followed.

Guarantee consistency of technical documentation

Promote and participate to the continuous improvement of the QMS and EHS.

Appoint some people of his team to take part in creation of training modules

Consolidate the monthly report

5. Ensure management of team and team work

Perform annual assessment interviews and ensure annual objectives achievements of his team

Offer training and pay rise plan for his team members.

Set up communication plan with the team (Information to Team regarding strategy changes and priorities)

Team building and animation, develop team spirit

Reinforce synergy between equipment and process engineers

Take part in buget and follow it

Ensure resources allocation and consolidation of activity

Implement Human resources policy

Participate to QMS and HSE continuous improvement

Follow and ensure the update of platform indicators

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in materials, engineering, or science related field, with at least 5-10 year of relevant experience.

Broad knowledge of manufacturing process and equipment used in his/her expertise.

**Language Ability**:
Good verbal and written communication

Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team and multicultural environment

Ability to work with all members of working groups, skill levels and expertise

Ability to work independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives
