**The Role**
(F1-101)

Is a highly effective and innovative team Lead, with experience of leading multiple software development teams. They should be passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.

Exhibits a high level of consulting maturity, hands-on technical know-how and has the proven ability to solve customer problems: presenting solutions with conviction.

Is able to clearly articulate complex solutions and advise the PMO team on the smart district platform development specifics and best practices.

**As a Software Development Lead, here’s what you can do at DDX**
- You will be responsible for managing agile software delivery teams for IoT integration & operation including the design and implementation of UX/UI and partnering with the various product owners and internal business units.
- You will ensure all IoT software frameworks development are utilising modern design patterns and modern technologies.
- You will supervise and maintain the database/data warehouse in well conditions and responsible for its configuration, provisioning and maintenance agreement.
- You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of technology are delivered.
- You will show a strong risk management mindset relative to managing risk and delivering technical tasks related to the solution e.g. breaks, defects, patches & upgrades
- You will build and maintain relationships with vendor, partner, business, and technology team members.
- You will triage technical issues and lead teams & vendors toward solving problems.
- You will plan team/resource capacity to accommodate demands, testing, and integration/interoperability testing.

**Here's what you will bring**
- Bachelor's degree (ideally, a Bachelor of Science) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study
- 8+ years of experience on technical Delivery teams and enterprise products.
- 4+ years of managing technical Delivery teams and enterprise products.
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer, as an IT Consultant, or in a related occupation
- Knowledge and experience working with modern programming languages such as Javascript, Go, or Python
- Knowledge and experience using popular build tools
- Knowledge and experience in TDD and modern testing frameworks that support it
- Understanding of source control and experience working with modern tools that support it, such as Git
- An extensive working experience and advanced knowledge in server-side web and mocking technologies.
