**The Role**:
As the International Officer for Southeast Asia, based in Thailand, you’ll be at the forefront of our international recruitment efforts. Working closely with the Southeast Asia Regional Manager and the University of Exeter’s global teams, you will develop and implement strategies to recruit high-quality students from the region. You’ll play a vital role in promoting the University, nurturing key relationships, and ensuring students feel supported from inquiry through to enrolment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Represent the University of Exeter at recruitment events, fairs, and online activities across Southeast Asia.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with education agents, school counsellors, and institutions to boost student recruitment.
- Organise and attend local recruitment events and provide post-visit reports to improve our strategy.
- Support student recruitment visits to Thailand and Vietnam, arranging impactful itineraries.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless student experiences, from pre-arrival to enrolment.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform recruitment strategies.
- Manage a marketing budget for the region and contribute to recruitment plans.

**What We're Looking For**:

- A degree (honours level or equivalent) and fluency in English.
- Proven experience in international student recruitment, especially in Southeast Asia.
- Strong organisational skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience delivering successful recruitment strategies and meeting set targets.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a remote team across different time zones.
- A willingness to travel across Southeast Asia and the UK.

**Desirable**:

- Fluency in Thai and a good understanding of the education systems in Thailand and the UK.
- Understanding of local digital marketing platforms and previous study or work experience in the UK.
