**Senior Buyer**

The Senior Buyer is responsible for source selection and procurement functions directly associated with the company's needs for production materials, fixed assets and tooling. These products are to be secured at competitive cost, quality and delivery performance levels consistent with company policy and performance standards

**Location: Chonburi, Thailand**

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Manage weekly MRP messages including a weekly purchase order report in response to weekly MRP messages.
- Manage supplier purchases to maintain proper inventory to support production build plans and company targets for on hand inventory levels.
- Confers with current and prospective suppliers to determine supplier capabilities, transportation logistics, inventory control and management; negotiates prices and delivery terms.
- Handle correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, prices, and report such changes to the interested parties in a timely manner as required.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve defective material issues and any other procurement related problems.
- Collaborates with cross functional internal and external personnel
- Process Purchase Orders and maintains final selection document, quotation, investment report and other documents(s) pertain to the purchase order.
- Works closely with suppliers to coordinate deliveries and resolves all issues.
- Processes purchase order revision requests in MRP SYSTEM and communicates with suppliers.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred
- Ability to proactively respond with a high degree of initiative to resolve issues or complex problems and anticipate issues that may arise.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills.
- Must have efficient organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services.
