The Group is a long-term strategic supplier of defence systems for the Royal Thai Army and Navy. In aerospace, Thales plays a key strategic role, delivering country-wide solutions to Thai customers in the area of air traffic management, radars and navigation aids. Thales is supplying ground transportation solutions to the main and urban rail lines in the area of signalling and fare collection.

Responsibilities include:

- To handle Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger and other accounting tasks
- Day-to-day accounting operation activities and functions such as data entry accounting system
- Handle and prepare full set management accounts
- Prepare bank reconciliations, fixed assets accounting
- Maintain proper financial reports and filing systems
- Perform month-end closing
- Filing of SST Return
- Prepare yearly audit and corporate tax schedule
- To monitor routine tax compliance requirement to ensure prompt submission
- Liaison with external auditors and tax agent
- Support Financial Controller based in SG to:

- Monitor all financial matters of Transportation Projects (revenue, Estimate At Completion, margin, cash-in ).
- Analyze the incurred and future expenses; identify any variance/deviation from budget.
- Follow-up the risks and opportunities.
- Participate in the yearly budget exercise and rolling forecast.
- Responsible for the monthly reporting (Dashboard) to the Business Lines.
- Support the project managers for the financial data preparation required for the monthly project reviews.

REQUIRED COMPETENCE AND SKILLS

Required Skills / knowledge:

- Minimum 5 years working experiences in Accounting field is required for this position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
- Proficient in English
- Independently, self-driven and ability to deliver within deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of financial planning (e.g. forecast, budget)
- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Autonomous and team player
