Hi, I’m Baha. I’m the Worker Operations Manager for Thailand and the hiring manager for this position. By introducing myself, I hope you’ll have a better understanding of what Workmate is, what we are trying to achieve, as well as the integral part in which our Recruiter will play in this project.

A little about me since you and I will work together:

- I have 7 years of experience in Operations in FMCG, Logistics and various startups. I’m looking for someone with the same passion for innovation, especially when the mission is to provide people with a better quality of life.
- Problem solving is my passion. The more complex the situation is, the more satisfaction I get from solving it
- I joined Workmate because my passion is aligned with the company’s purpose There are a lot of blue collar workers that constantly look out for employment to support their family, however, their experience and skills are rarely fairly remunerated or properly recognized in their environment. Workmate wants to change that.
- We want to unite these workers under one platform. A space that does not only provide them full time employment at a click of a button, but furthermore creates a history of their employment, their experience, their performance, so that they are compensated fairly, and are recognized for their work. They will no longer need to worry about finding that next gig.
- The current landscape especially during this uncertain time is quite challenging for those without access to fair opportunities. This is where I strongly believe our platform comes in and eliminates this issue.

Who you are and whom we’re seeking:

- **You communicate exceptionally** in Thai, which means writing, presenting and listening, and are able to digest and explain complex information with ease. While Thai is the main language for this role, a decent command of English would also be great.
- **You are a team player** with excellent collaborative skills, and take great pride in being open and honest in everything you do.
- **You are agile **and are comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environments, and are open to working on a variety of different tasks.
- **Experience** in a Recruitment and/or startup environment is definitely a plus.

Things you may do as a Recruiter at Workmate:

- Coordinate with our marketing team to prepare leads.
- Coordinate with our service/commercial team to confirm requirements.
