**A**bout the Role**
As a Data Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering data products and projects that power decision-making, monitoring, and innovation across the business. You will define product vision, manage roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and user-centric data solutions. Your strategic thinking and product sense will help elevate our data platform capabilities and maximize business impact through data.
**What**You'll** Do**
**_ P_**_roduct Leadership & Strategy_**
- Define clear goals, success metrics, and KPIs to measure the value and impact of data products/projects.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data projects, from discovery and requirements gathering to release and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the product roadmap in close collaboration with engineering, analytics, business and product stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to create or enhance data products that solve real user problems and unlock business value.
- Ensure alignment between product initiatives and broader business strategy.
**_Stakeholder Management_**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders on all things related to data and analytics.
- Organize and gather requirements, and ensure alignment across business analysts, product teams, account managers, and partners.
- Communicate product vision, timelines, trade-offs, and progress effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive decision-making by presenting clear data product insights, feasibility considerations, and business value assessments.
**_Execution & Delivery Support_**
- Collaborate with data engineers, and BI analysts to deliver robust data solutions (e.g., datasets, dashboards, APIs, reporting).
- Ensure clear documentation of product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize development efforts based on impact, feasibility, and user needs.
- Oversee data validation, testing, and release processes to ensure high-quality delivery.
**_Data Governance & Quality_**
- Promote data governance best practices, including consistent definitions, data lineage, and metadata management.
- Monitor data product performance and quality post-release, and coordinate improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and compliance standards across all data product initiatives.
**_Process Improvement_**
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data product development and delivery processes.
- Advocate for product and data best practices within cross-functional teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, user-centricity, and continuous learning in how data products are developed and used.
**What**You'll** Need to Succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in product management, ideally focused on data platforms, analytics tools, or data infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, and analytics workflows.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Proactive, analytical, and user-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities effectively.
