We also develop, own and operate Shopping Centres that are anchored by IKEA and create walkable communities by including residential, office and other types of real estate in our development plans.

This is a 3-month internship, scheduled to start between 1 February and 15 February 2025.
The goal of this role is to secure that store communication completes and amplifies the shopping experience and range presentation through IKEA visual and verbal identity thereby contributing to building consumers' perception of the IKEA brand in the local market as unique and consistent.

- Plan, implement and evaluate in-store and digital communication to ensure that it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept as well as completes and enhances range presentation by using proven solutions, best practices, guidelines and national directions.
- Actively contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating in-store and digital communication strategies that support a convenient shopping experience by using knowledge about life at home and shopping behaviour in the local market.
- Respect routines and responsibilities, work together with the Com&In team and other functions in the store, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact of your actions on the financial results.
- Secure visual balance and consistency, quality and simplicity, cost-efficiency and sustainability in producing and implementing in-store and digital communication.
- Stay up to date with knowledge about home furnishing, communication and retail design trends to follow creative directions that inspire and surprise store visitors through the IKEA visual and verbal identity.
- Keep visitors in mind and minimise disruption when working on the shop floor.
**Qualifications**
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office is required.
- A passion for fast-paced, future-oriented retailing and the IKEA product range.
- Provide home furnishing solutions that improve people’s life at home.
- Good knowledge of trends that influence home furnishing and communication.
- Ability to combine commercial, aesthetic and practical skills.
- Ability to generate, visualise and present new ideas.
- Ability to work together with others in a team.
- Confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations.
- Have a flexible and hands-on approach to responsibilities as well as the ability to meet set deadlines.
