R&d/junior Chemist

Our client is one of the world’s leading solution providers of high-performance specialty building materials.

**Responsibilities**
- Developing and improving products according to marketing and company assignments.
- Handling production line improvement to customer expectations and company standards.
- Coordinating with other relevant departments to ensure that the operation procedure runs smoothly.
- Analyzing working efficiency, and problems facing them, come up with alternative solutions for continuous improvement.
- Assisting the R&D team with raw material source, evaluation, and testing for other projects/activities when required.
- Sourcing and negotiating the new & existing raw materials for the local supplier.
- Managing the process for study samples de-branding, labeling, and assembling is aligned
- Summarizing and preparing QC Monthly report and conference meeting with ASL R&D Manager.
- Working with production facilities/departments to ensure a straightforward scale-up once the reformulations/new products are ready for large-scale production.
- Controlling lab bench work and sample preparation according to R&D testing method and requirements.
- Summarizing and preparing QC Monthly report and conference meeting with ASL R&D Manager.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Chemical /Polymer related field.
- 3 years experience in developing a formula and QC in the chemical construction business.
- Able to communicate in English.
- Logical thinking, Patience, Adaptability, Problem-solving, Accuracy, Conceptive, Thinking, Time Management, and Analytical Thinking.
