**Job Title**: Head Chef - Chinese Cuisine

**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the preparation and execution of authentic Chinese dishes, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation.
- Develop and design seasonal menus, incorporating both traditional and contemporary Chinese culinary trends.
- Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team to maintain high culinary standards and discipline.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, purchasing, and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with management to plan special menus, promotions, and events.
- Monitor guest feedback and continuously work on improving dishes and service standards.
- Maintain equipment and kitchen cleanliness in line with health and safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese regional cuisines (e.g., Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Beijing) and cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage.
