International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) is WSB’s international proposition which aims to provide banking coverage to the subsidiaries of Wholesales Banking customers within the Large Corporate and Mid
- Market Enterprise segments. The ISB strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The ISB business is a significant contributor of revenue to CMB and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 50 countries.

We are currently seeking a high caliber individual to join our team as an **Assistant Relationship Manager.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Support the Relationship Manager in achievement of targets for revenue generation, product alignment and suitability, customer satisfaction and cost containment
- Provide effective and efficient operational support to the relationship managers in particular on client management, transaction support and operation requests
- Increase HSBC's share of wallet with our clients and help RM in Identifying new business opportunities via regular contact with customers at different level
- Provide input and suggestions on process streamlining and various control mechanisms
- Support senior management in identifying strategies to maintain and enhance overall relationship return and ensure early identification of potential credit issues
- Aid in pre-sales activity with client related research from public sources and help in preparing briefing notes in advance of key client meetings
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and internal colleagues
- Complete review and submission of credit risk returns including limit excess or exception, security or documentation outstanding, monthly credit control reports etc.
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
- Validate and ensure outputs from relationship management team are in line with regulatory, compliance and internal standard through screening or sample checking

Requirements
- Degree in Finance will be considered and advantage
- Credit and Analytical skills an advantage
- Knowledge of corporate banking products (Trade / Cash management and Global Markets) will be helpful
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good presentation skills
- Possession of a positive attitude and a customer centric approach
- Command of both spoken and written English.
