- Department: Finance/Legal- Location: Thailand- Team and Role Introduction:

- Lazada Pay is a new business unit with the goal of helping Lazada venture into the fintech space to enhance the overall platform user experience as well as capture new revenue streams. The Strategic Marketing Lead plays a critical role in planning and executing key marketing activities to ensure clear brand positioning and effective marketing communication to end users to drive the adoption of Lazada Pay products and services. Additionally, this role will also help support enhancements and optimization of payment campaigns.**Responsibilities**:
- Perform monthly closing, including preparing the financial analysis and posting manual journals for payroll, lease, accrual, etc.
- Assist in following up with stakeholders to obtain data and information for day-to-day and closing period booking with strong reconciliation.
- Accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and process of payments.
- Issue invoices and execute account receivable; assist in performing account receivable and producing related reports.
- Maintain Fixed assets and intangible asset register.
- Prepare various tax submissions, e.g., SBT, SST, and WHT.
- Collaboration with the compliance team to prepare and submit BOT report.
- Work closely with operation/regional finance/Technical teams to drive the accounting operation smoothly and supporting to deliver the Finance and accounting report.
- Proactively participate and support continuous improvements in work processes, both internal and external.
- Involve the Finance workstream and system implementation, assist with UAT testing, and monitor the finance-related impacts post-launch.
- Assist in the preparation of the financial statement.
- Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or a related field its equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of working experience in the accounting-related field, Big 4 accounting firm experience or e-money experience preferred.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well with people across different cultures.
- Positive and result-driven. Good sense of logic and analytical thinking. A team player with good organizational skills and an eye for accuracy and detail.
- Solid accounting knowledge as well as local tax/audit regulation. Hands-on/relevant working experience in a finance operating environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and good command of English, both written and oral.
- Flexible and bright personality, open to committing in a dynamic environment.
