Triple Jump, a Dutch impact investment manager with a global portfolio, is looking for a:
**Equity Investment Officer**

32-40 hours per week, initially for one year, based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Triple Jump is an impact-focused investment manager that manages and advises several funds in the area of financial inclusion, SME finance, affordable housing and renewable energy. Triple Jump is headquartered in Amsterdam and has a strong footprint in the emerging markets with 5 regional offices located in Georgia, Peru, Mexico, Thailand and Kenya. The team consists of over 100 professionals, including 30 different nationalities, with broad field experience and in-depth financial expertise. Triple Jump investment portfolio spans across more than 60 countries.

Triple Jump offers professional asset management services to investors, ranging from asset selection, to portfolio management to fund administration. Triple Jump holds an AIFMD license and is regulated by the Dutch Central Bank and the Authority Financial Markets. Our investor base includes institutional investors, development banks, governments, NGOs, and retail banks, all of whom seek to combine financial returns with and social/environmental impact.

**Expectations**

As an **Equity Investment Officer**, you are responsible for the identification, appraisal and negotiation of equity investments in FIs. You will act as board member or shareholder representative at portfolio companies. You will identify and negotiate exit opportunities from portfolio companies. You will work as a member of the FI equity team and in close collaboration with the regional debt team. The position requires frequent travel.

**Job description**
- Assess if FIs are suitable for an equity investment;
- Perform and coordinate investment-related activities (market, legal, company due diligence);
- Negotiate contracts with Investees and partners, according to the guidelines of the investment committee in consultation with Legal Counsel;
- Take a seat on investee’s board of directors on behalf of Triple Jump managed funds, with the aim to add demonstrable value and contribute to a healthy development of the investee;
- Monitor and report the on the developments and results of investees;
- Initiate and execute a potential exit process.

**Job requirements**:

- Have strong communication skills and be able to represent Triple Jump and its funds under management on boards, shareholder meetings and other public events;
- Able to take a strategic view on market developments and the evolution of companies, identifies market trends and acts on these trends;
- Have networks in the market, both on the investee side and on the investors side (donors, MFO's, multilateral institutions, commercial funders and potential professionals for board of director positions);
- Familiar with TJ’s investment processes and extensive experience with due diligence of FIs;
- Comfortable with analyzing financial statements and institutional strengths and weaknesses;
- Culturally sensitive and a team player.
