System Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Architect to join our organization. As a System Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software systems and infrastructure. With your expertise in system architecture and extensive industry knowledge, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems.
- System Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to design high-performance and scalable system architectures. Develop system specifications, diagrams, and documentation.
- System Integration: Design and implement system integration strategies to ensure seamless communication between various software components, third-party systems, and external APIs. Identify and address potential integration challenges.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Optimize system architecture and infrastructure to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure the system architecture adheres to industry standards and best practices for data security and privacy. Identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- System Testing and Validation: Define testing strategies and work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure the system architecture meets functional and performance requirements. Perform system validation and verification activities.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to system architecture. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Provide technical inputs during project planning and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot complex system issues and provide timely resolutions. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including architectural diagrams, design patterns, and technical specifications. Share knowledge and best practices with the development team and contribute to the organization's knowledge base.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in system architecture, software development, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in designing and architecting complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems.
- Proficiency in system integration, including working with APIs, third-party systems, and service-oriented architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of system design principles, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
- Experience with performance optimization, scalability, and reliability techniques for distributed systems.
- Familiarity with security best practices and industry standards for data protection and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools is desirable.
- Certifications in relevant areas such as system architecture, cloud platforms, or security are a plus.
