The role of the Account Manager is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. The position will manage a defined book of business aligned by customer segment within a geography and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals. You will also open up larger solution opportunities and introduce Solution and Proposition Sales. You will be responsible for account management in Thailand, which includes customer relationship, revenue, and new business growth management.
Key Strengths
- Communication and analytical skills - Proficient verbal and writing skills, skilled at creating presentation material, and comfort with managing financial analysis are essential skill sets for this job role.
Role Responsibilities
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision maker’s strategies, priorities and needs.
- Align the voice of customers both locally and regionally and provide ongoing value for customers
- Learn and maintain solid understanding of LSEGs propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest.
- Build and embed a long term trusted advisor relationship within their accounts.
- Drive growth by expanding LSEG footprint within their accounts.
- Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed net revenue.
- Oversee all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end to end customer relationship.
- Drive efficiency in account administration (especially for lower value and growth potential accounts).
- Account Managers is responsible for revenue retention, sales (new logo acquisition), and administration of their accounts.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- University/College degree, Master’s degree of MBA, Finance, or Investment is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Excellence skills in both verbal and written presentation.
- Very good English communication skills.
- Industry experience within the customer segment.
- Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute an Account Plan.
- Problem solving-ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs.
- Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization.
- Ability to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders.
- Proven account management, sales or marketing experience in a customer facing environment required.
- Customer relationship management required throughout
