Business Analyst

**Description**:
We are looking for a Business Analyst who is driven to accelerate and enable sustainable business growth for StashAway.

You are passionate about providing data-driven insights to help various stakeholders make sound business decisions that ultimately, translate to business results. You are unafraid of getting your hands dirty to understand the business and are able to think strategically to use different tools to derive insights that drive growth. You have a strong interest in financial markets and can get into the knitty-gritty of investment products. **Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high quality and comprehensive analysis to derive insights for business needs
- Deliver data points for product and business decisions for improvements on existing investment products ranging from Private Equity, Venture Capital and Angel Investing to cash management, flexible portfolios and so on
- Provide analysis in the due diligence process of Private Equity funds, Angel Investments and further investment products for the Investment team
- Be the key point of contact with leading general partners, fund managers and other industry players regionally
- Monitor and analyze external data (e.g. industry trends and demographic behavior across geographies)
- Raise new opportunities in line with the Strategic plan and formulate business cases to senior management
- Support the Head of Investment Products in cross-functional projects around design and delivery of solutions
- Support the Reserve and Marketing teams in providing relevant content for use across the platform

**Requirements**:
**Must-Haves**:

- Degree with relevant business discipline, e.g. Business, Economics, Strategy, Mathematics, or Engineering
- Result-oriented with a strong bias for action
- Outstanding analytical, quantitative and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication (presentation, written, and listening) skills
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders
- Attention to detail and willingness to get your hands dirty

**Good-to-Haves**:

- Knowledge of Private and Public Market investment products is a plus. An interest is a must.
- Past experience in consulting or other business analyst roles is a plus
