Major

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing relationships with international brokers and reinsurance producers to write Fire and IAR business
- Underwriting all new Fire and IAR business and related products.
- Responsible for all Fire and IAR renewal accounts.
- Prepare all quotations for new business.
- Management of the Fire portfolio (interim).
- Handling of international broker and reinsurance business
- Responsible for all renewal Fire and IAR accounts and related products.
- Underwriting and Quoting all accounts including support for colleagues on Thai regulations regarding the tariff, special rates etc.
- Responsible for other request from our overseas offices.
- Responsible for reinsurance assumed and ceded business for all accounts, renewals, and new business
- Administrative works to support the property, operation, and accounting team.
- Prepare monthly report and NBQR for Fire and IAR including follow up all quotations.
- Submit Quarterly Report for Fire and IAR accounts to Department of Insurance.
- Monitoring and reporting the underwriting result in all aspects both to local supervisor and regional team
- Other responsibility related to all Fire and IAR line of business and related products:

- Overall portfolio management and underwriting results
- Coordinate and follow up with other line of business for all renewal accounts and new business
- Monitor price summary module on a monthly basis
- Other projects, as assigned and delegated by supervisor

Reporting Relationships

Reports to: Property Manager / Head of Property and Tech Lines

**Skills**:

- Proven ability for accuracy and attention to detail.
- The position requires the ability to develop strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills in English (Writing/ Listening/ Speaking)

Experience
- Years of experience: 3-5 years working experience in insurance business (Property)

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in business or related field
- Underwriting / marketing proficiency in commercial product lines gained through five or more years of applicable experience in at least two of the following areas: underwriting / marketing, sales/ marketing, product management, and claims and /or risk assessment.
- Capability to work independently and utilize appropriate automated tools with mínimal administrative support.
- Superior communications and interpersonal skills to be capable of dealing with producers, customers and all levels of the organization in Thai and English
