Project Manager

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and reliable Project Manager & Liaison to act as the key point of contact between our R&D team in Thailand and our Project Manager in the US. This person will build and oversee the R&D team in Thailand and play a critical role in moving projects and tasks forward, setting clear goals and deadlines for the R&D team to accomplish, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Act as the primary point of contact** between the R&D team in Thailand and the Project Manager in the US, working closely together to ensure smooth and consistent communication to align on goals, progress, and project timelines.
- **Research and secure an appropriate location for R&D Lab**, ideally a small café to facilitate testing and innovation.
- **Hire, train, and build an R&D team** of 4-8 employees in Chiang Mai, Thailand, ensuring a collaborative, productive, and innovative work environment.
- **Oversee the R&D team** to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- **Manage multiple projects** effectively, providing detailed updates on progress, milestones, and any potential roadblocks.
- **Ensure seamless communication** across teams, providing clear status updates, addressing issues, and keeping all relevant parties informed throughout the drink development cycle including formulation, market testing, production processes, and customer feedback.
- **Provide weekly progress updates** to the Project Manager in the US, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps.
- **Foster a culture of care, creativity, and accountability**, ensuring the team delivers high-quality results consistently.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in both Thai and English
- College Education
- Based in Chiang Mai
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing small teams (4-8 employees), with a track record of hiring, training, and leading.
- Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail and ability to set clear goals.
- A team player who collaborates well with others and fosters a positive and productive work environment.
- Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong people skills—ability to communicate effectively, motivate the team, and resolve any conflicts that may arise.
- Previous experience in project management, or the food/beverage industry is a plus.
- Hardworking, dependable, and solution-oriented

**Bonus Skills**:

- Knowledge of market research and consumer testing methodologies.
- R&D/ Food & Drinks background

**Compensation**: TBD

**Schedule**: 8 hours a day M-F; 7am-4pm (Please set aside some mornings for weekly collaboration hours with US PST time zone)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ฿23,000.00 - ฿26,000.00 per month
