Responsibility
- Develop ideas, identify research questions, and provide a detailed analysis of business opportunities as well as challenges in order to outline business implications for WBG in the region.
- Understand, evaluate, and analyze key industry trends pertaining to short-, medium
- and long-term outlooks in AEC+3 markets.
- Gather information/insights and formulate segment strategies (wholesale and retail banking) in AEC+3 markets.
- Support the bank’s stress testing process (ICAAP and supervisory/integrated scenarios) and provide views of risks related to banking overview under stressed economic and financial conditions.
- Support the formation of credit policy, business planning, industry risk assessment, and perform other duties associated with industry strategies’ analyses.
- Provide any necessary economic and financial recommendations for relevant business units and pinpoint opportunities to penetrate new groups of customers with existing/new financial products.

Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Economic, Business Administration, or related fields
- Having at least 5 years of work experience as an economist or a research analyst (industry or market research)
- Having experience working in the field of corporate strategy would be an asset
- Having strong analytical skills and critical thinking, as well as communication and presentation skills

Working Location

Location: Kasikornbank, Phaholyothin Office (near BTS Ari), and occasionally travel to AEC Country.
