PRTR is working with a western seat assembly manufacturer. They are looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for production planning and management of the seat assembly, prevent or solve unexpected situations in the production process, ensure the continuous and efficient production of high-quality products, as well as improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Arranging the production plans according to orders and supervising production implementation to ensure the timely completion of production tasks.
- Summarizing the production records and documents, timely feedback production status, proposing, and implementing the plan to improve production efficiency.
- Being responsible for the management of the production site to ensure that the production site meets the safety, quality, and operation specifications of company.
- Handling production site problems and analyzing the root causes of various problems to solve them timely and ensure that it can be controlled, creating the corresponding prevention method accordingly.
- Being responsible for the scrap control of the production site, ensuring that the scrap rate reaches factory requirements, and reducing the scrap rate with continuous improvement.
- Handling training and performance evaluation of production staff to ensure that employees meet the company’s requirements and perform their own advantages also.
- Communicating with employees regularly, publicizing the company's policies, and understanding, and solving staff problems.
- Using the continuous improvement tools to implement 5S requirements, improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Cooperating with the department manager to complete other tasks. Defining and ensuring the production team KPIs.
- Planning, driving, and executing continuous improvement activities.
- Planning and executing new model introduction, and localization.
- Supporting in solving the day-to-day production issue and shortages.

**Qualifications**:

- Educational background in Engineering fields.
- 35-40 years old with experience over 10 years as an Engineer leading the production team.
- Experience in the Automotive industry (tier 2 and OEM is preferable).
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement of LEAN Manufacturing, 5S, and other improvement tools.
- Good leadership, willingness to learn new things and good problem-solving skills, and dynamic.
- Good knowledge of IATF16949.
- Fluent in English communication skills.
