**A Day in the Life**:Associate Accountant (Employee Expense & Tax Compliance)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

**Employee Claims Review**:

- Review and verify employee expense claims (SAP Concur) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment in compliance with local tax compliance and local regulation and company global policies.
- Follow up on policy violations or missing documentation to ensure timely and correct reimbursements.
- Monitor submission cut-off deadlines and provide guidance to employees for compliance.
- Monitor and follow up age Corporate Card (Amex)

**Tax Preparation & Reporting**:

- Prepare and reconcile monthly withholding tax filings (PND3, PND53, PND54, PP36).
- Ensure timely and accurate submission to the Thai Revenue Department.
- Assist in preparing VAT analysis and custom tax reports to support corporate income tax (CIT) optimization and audit documentation.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly tax filings (PND3, PND53, PND54, PP36).

**Audit Support**:

- Support documentation, information and coordination for both internal and external audit requests related to employee expenses, tax filings, and compliance controls. As the external audit requires an in-depth understanding of Thai accounting regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards. A local employee can ensure that all financial statements and processes are aligned with the Thai Revenue Department’s requirements.
- Compile supporting documentation and ensure completeness of audit trails.
- Assist in implementing any corrective actions or process improvements identified during audits.
- Maintain audit-ready records and provide tax-related reports.

Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. **Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in expense processing, accounting, or tax compliance.
- Familiarity with SAP Concur and SAP ERP system is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Thai tax regulations (e.g., PND forms, VAT, WHT).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Good command in English
