**Position Summary**
Staff level position that performs various tasks including: computing, classifying, recording, and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records. Works under general supervision.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Sorts, compiles, and enters documents substantiating business transactions into financial data processing system according to company procedures.
- Reconciles invoices, statements, checks, and reports. Researches and takes appropriate action to resolve discrepancies.
- Assists internal and external customers with questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.
- Performs similar job-related duties as assigned.
- Performs SOX controls
- Assists with internal and external audits
- Special projects as needed
- Participates in the quality improvement process as necessary
- Handles filing and documents
- Requires employee to constantly type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.
**Required Education**
Bachelor degree with relevant experience.
**Required Experience & Skills**
- Proficient Microsoft Suite and PC skills
- Strong data entry skills and 10-key calculator by touch
- Good verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A team player that can function well as a part of a team
**Preferred Experience & Skills**
- 3-5 years or more of accounts receivable, or purchasing experience preferable.
- Experience with ERP systems preferable
**Physical Demands**
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
