Senior PHP Web Developer

**Numinix Web Development Ltd. is a Vancouver, BC based tech company focusing on e-commerce web design and development. We are ranked #1 in Zen Cart and have expanded our expertise to other ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Bigcommerce, Magento, and OpenCart). We consult and support small to medium-sized businesses to establish an online presence and develop a successful e-commerce store. Due to the increasing demand of our expertise, we are looking for a Senior (emphasis on strong back-end skills) web developer to join our team**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Provide technical leadership, feedback and mentorship to mid-level and junior developer**:

- **Work within a cross-functional product team to execute the roadmap for your team's product domain according to our product principles**:

- **Think big, start small, ship to learn, give our customers superpowers**:

- **Write clean, simple, well-tested code that is easy to understand and maintain**:

- **Review code written by other developers**:

- **Occasionally participate in customer feedback interviews lead by the product manager or designer to gain insights into our customer's experience of the product**:

- **Delivery of work using Agile and Scrum**:

- **Scoping and planning of tasks**

**Technical Requirements**
- **Advanced skills in Back End technologies using PHP and MySQL (5+ years working experience)**:

- **Intermediate programming skills in Front End technologies such as CSS, HTML & JavaScript (2+ years working experience)**:

- **Experience in Javascript**:

- **Excellent knowledge of server technologies using Nginx & Apache**:

- **Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills**:

- **Experience working in Agile and Scrum**:

- **Docker**:

- **Bonus: Knowledge of Zen Cart and WooCommerce**:

- **Bonus : You have experience working with Vue.js**:

- **Bonus: You have experience working with Node.Js**:

- **Bonus: You have experience working with the Liquid (Shopify) templating system**:

- **Bonus: You have experience building versioned public APIs**
