Job Description

We are seeking an Accountant & Office Coordinator to join our team in Bangkok. This role will involve supporting corporate teams with monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with audit adherence to Group processes and directives
  • Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities with the Entity Management team
  • Improving and maintaining the Cost Accounting and Reporting System
  • Supporting operations in the Accounting/HR/Administration department for a small entity
  • Being a Key User on JDE and interfacing with Group IT
  • Serving as a single point of contact for Office Coordinator-related activities, including HR, Accounting, Invoicing, Credit Collecting, Corporate Secretary, Reception, and external consultant management
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in evaluating, integrating, and maintaining main financial process flows, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, and stock transfers
  • Month-end closing skills, including intercompany reconciliation, fixed asset takes, stock takes, balance sheet reconciliations, and product/project costing
  • Budgeting and forecasting expertise
  • JDE knowledge is an added advantage
  • Good skills in process description and report writing
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Thailand language Speaker or native
  • Proactive and independent self-starter
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel when required
Education and Experience

Prior experience in accounting and finance for small entities, such as sales offices or manufacturing units, is essential. A university degree in economics, finance, or accounting is also required. Knowledge of information systems, particularly Microsoft office, is desirable.

Place of Work and Job Type

The successful candidate will be based in Bangkok, Thailand, and will work as a permanent employee within the Engineering sector, specifically in the Accounting/Banking/Finance role, without managing other people. This is a permanent job opportunity.
