Job Title: Global Logistics Specialist - Customs and Compliance Expert

We are seeking an experienced Global Logistics Specialist - Customs and Compliance Expert to join our team at Vinarco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customs clearance and compliance with all relevant regulations.

About the Role:

  • Drafting import shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs clearance documents.
  • Coordinating and preparing data for the Netbay system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations.
  • Printing and delivering delivery notes to customers, maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Accurately recording inbound shipment data, providing real-time insights into our logistics operations.
  • Preparing import documents, including bills of lading and customs clearance documents, to ensure smooth customs clearance processes.
  • Coordinating between customers, suppliers, and internal personnel, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Verifying the accuracy of documents, including bills of lading, FTA forms, and customs clearance documents, to maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Knowledge of logistics documents, including B/L, D/O, etc., to ensure efficient processing and clearance.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in making draft entries, with a strong understanding of logistics and customs procedures.
  • Excellent English writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex logistics information effectively.
  • Experience in Import, Export ONLY, with a focus on global freight forwarding.
  • Maturity and professionalism, with the ability to handle high workloads and flexible working hours, including weekends if required.
  • Experience using Netbay, with a strong understanding of its functionality and applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
