YOUR ROLEYou are accountable to develop and implement strategy / direction with right proposal and solution design for any new Ground & Rail business in the region. To drive the solution / pricing strategy to improve new prospect / pipelines hit rate. To Manage transport procurement activities and to coordinate with internal customers and outside suppliers for sourcing transport services for Thailand and emerging countries. To provide high quality & competitiveness in tender responses to customers.- Responsible for defining a country Pricing, Solution Design and Procurement strategy and ensuring its implementation in coordination with Ground & Rail Operations Leadership.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?- Lead and manage the Pricing and Solution Design Managers in the country to align all strategic business development opportunities, liaise internally and coordinate necessary ground solution as a BU work stream to support the new business opportunities.
- Define priorities and manage transport procurement to ensure delivery of savings targets, adequate capacity (sourcing mix, make or buy) and robust supplier management (compliance, performance management).
- Manages relationship with subcontractors as well as negotiates rates / tariff and terms to ensure best rates versus service levels for all third-party transport activities.
- Locates opportunities to provide innovative and compelling offers in order to generate growth for GROUND and Ground businesses in the country.
- Define and implement appropriate PRIMO Cost Model, consistent with GHO guidance, in order to actively manage Ground & Rail Solution Design & ICAP.
- Reviews, designs and leads the optimization of the ground transport network. Locates new innovation / approach to enhance GROUND commercial offers and improving chance of business awarded.
- Works co-operatively with others to achieve the goals, supports appropriate sharing of transport resources and expertise between other BLs by promoting the full benefits to the country / region.
- Define priorities and work collaboratively with Product development, BD and marketing to ensure service offering is documented with clear value proposition and BD teams are properly trained and supported to identify and win profitable opportunities aligned with priority targets.
- Define priorities and work collaboratively with BPE, operations, Digital and IT corporate administration to ensure efficient operations through continuous improvement methods and technology support (process standardization, compliance and automation, capacity planning and optimization).
- Support Emerging countries for the necessary ground solution design, pricing, and procurement activities, such as guiding the local bidding, sharing best practice for vendor management, etc. (process standardization, compliance and automation, capacity planning and optimization).

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar.
- Relevant working experience in logistics and supply chain, consulting, and/or manufacturing.
- Working experience in procurement and transport operation within a logistic related field (Ground Transport).
- Project management experience
- Project management, warehousing, transportation, supply chain design, industrial engineering, manufacturing.
- Able to evaluate technical solutions, their commercial impact and risks.
- Knowledge of cost improvement strategies.
- Understand basic business cost modelling and P&L structures.
- Strong working knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to effectively train team members and other colleagues.
- ‘Can-do’ mentality and positive attitude.
