Senior Infrastructure Architect

The primary purpose of the role is to deliver an infrastructure solution design for a project or initiative that is cost effective and fit for purpose, provide architectural guidance and support to teams involved in the delivery, and ensure the integrity of infrastructure architecture in line with domain and Allianz Technology standards.

**You will**
- Take overall responsibility for architecture and low level design within the infrastructure and security domain to ensure that the solution meets Allianz Technology architecture and project requirements.
- Work proactively with stakeholders during initial business case and concept phase to support scoping and prioritization in line with business needs.
- Identify and analyze emerging trends in both business and technology to provide input and consultation to the business on regular basis.
- Provide expert technical input and advice into development of technical strategies and system architectures, and contribute to the business planning of Allianz Technology.
- Benchmark AzT technologies against its competitors and identify technical improvements that will benefit the business.
- Actively participate and promote the governance around enterprise and infrastructure services leveraged across Allianz Technology regionally and globally.
- Adhere to Diversity and Inclusion policy and principles and help create an environment of respect, collaboration and inclusion for our colleagues and customers.
- Ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, the health and safety of self, colleagues, contractors and visitors by complying with the due care requirements as per WHS legislation.
- Understand customer insights and feedback. Act to put the best interests of our customers at the heart of everything we do.
- Understand and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures to mitigate risks and compliance issues and take action to identify, report and resolve risks and issues, or escalate as necessary.

**Key Stakeholders and Relationships management**

**Internal**
- Business and AAL IT Stakeholders: Work closely with relevant business stakeholders to scope out the project/ initiative and define detailed architectural requirements.

**External**
- Consultants and Service Providers: Engage with external consultants to drive implementation of strategic initiatives.

**Your skills**
- Comprehensive knowledge of business domain and significant experience in Insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure and security domains
- Ability to recognize, avert, manage and escalate conflicts to enable effective and timely resolution in accordance with organizational processes.
- Ability to manage complex negotiations to ensure mutual agreement between parties is achieved.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
- Ability to focus on end-outcomes and work accordingly to achieve the desired results.
- Good communication skills, interpersonal, oral, and written in English
