**The Role**

Delta Dynamics (DDX) is recruiting for an **IoT Solution Architect** to address the architectural principles, concepts, properties, and characteristics for one of our large scale IoT/Smart City projects in Bangkok.

With global smart city spending set to increase from $1 trillion to $2.5 trillion/year by 2026, this is a unique opportunity to work on one of the largest smart city development and IoT implementations worldwide. With hundreds of thousands of sensors across multiple buildings, as an IoT Solution Architect you will gain unrivalled insights and knowledge in how to architect systems for the buildings of the future.

Will be working closely with the Senior Solutions Architect and Edge Device Project Manager under the Project Management Office (PMO) to design and implement required system and solution network architecture for a large-scale IoT/Smart City project in Bangkok.

They will be required to ensure the best possible solution design including its feasibility for sensors and edge devices integration and operation based upon a given implementation schedule.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Ensure delivery of the best possible and future-proofed network solution architecture design
- Work with the individual work package deployment teams to ensure a consistent approach of the overall structure and correct presentation under the Project Management Plan (PMP)
- Work closely with the other Solution Architects to ensure the network solution architecture is seamlessly integrated and future-proofed
- Assist with the technical engagement with vendors to understand their offerings, requirement for integrations, integration platform, development roadmap and required support
- Assist with the solution architecture design review meeting including development of meeting minutes and design review meeting documents for review and approval
- Collaborate and support cross product solution design and architectures while maintaining relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices
- Support selected vendors for development and execution of test cases for system integration tests, system readiness, software development, interoperability tests towards given milestones under the given PMP
- Build new reference architectures, collaborate with vendors to build Proof of Concept (POC) and integrate best practices on security, scalability and operation excellence of their offerings
- Work closely with PMO teams for system integration and POC and also for the best possible/available technologies for the best-in-class network solution architecture design
- Articulate complex solutions and guide other system architects and PMO team on implementation specific and best practices including IoT & ICT lifecycle management solutions, including the necessary technical and process documentation
- Work with the PMO team to define final requirements, architecture, scope deliverable, equipment list and timeline based upon business requirement toward delivery of a final solution architect blueprint document which meets the end customer’s stated goals
- Monitor, control and manage a given budget, equipment list and resources including Change Management
- Present clear communications to stakeholders for a weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, update, required support and escalation and responsibility for successful execution of the PMP
- Deliver feasibility studies on all proposed solutions, architecture impact analysis, architecture dependencies, visibility, evaluation of alternative architectures and trade-off, performance and scalability, risk, cost benefit ratio of alternative solutions.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in IT/ telecommunications preferably with a Master Degree in IT/telecommunications
- 5 years of experience in solution architecture design and IT network infrastructure
- 3 years of experience in smart city, IoT, IT/ telecommunications, system integration
- Good understanding of general principles and practices in solution architecture design and telecommunications/data network infrastructures, inter connectivity and network security
- Experienced in working in cross functional teams and working with multiple vendors/ subcontractors under complex/large scale commercial project
- Good English communications with strong communications skill including good analytical skill
- Motivated and self-discipline and able to work under pressure with a good spirit of team work/ team player
