Job Description:

- Mentor and manage the Focus Factory Purchasing team to ensure optimum effectiveness while acting as a role model and projecting a positive attitude.
- This should also include monitoring workload distribution among the team members and allocating tasks appropriately.
- Ensure the Focus Factory Purchasing team is following all Processes and work instructions on a regular basis and participate in this process as required.
- Ensure Buyer attend WO Detail meetings, are prepared to provide status updates to the team.
- Act as a liaison to customer for purchasing issues to ensure effective resolution.
- This will also include ensuring team members are trained and have a good understanding of the requirements of customer contracts (LOI/LOU, PSA, MSA, etc.) and are in compliance with the applicable requirements.
- Initiate new programs or concepts to enhance purchasing activities.
- Benchmark the Purchasing activities and system flow with other companies to improve efficiencies. Monitor and minimize customer material liabilities.
- Update and maintain all demand planning metrics and additional metrics as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

- Degree with minimum 6 years’ working experience in related field. Able to manage team’s performance, teaching/facilitating, coaching and mentoring of team members. Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent proactive problem solving, analytical and leadership skills are necessary.
