**Government Affair Manager**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
The role of the Government Relations Manager entails cultivating and strengthening connections with government officials to effectively address pressing issues and achieve favorable outcomes for the company. They serve as the primary liaison for local government agencies and community leaders, ensuring the resolution of operational concerns, fostering a positive corporate image, and conveying key corporate messages.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collaborate with other departments to collectively meet business goals and tackle project-related challenges. Aid in the development of projects.
- Assist in resolving project grievances.
- Contribute to the formulation of a stakeholder management plan.
- Engage in government relations and advocacy initiatives.
- Establish and nurture fruitful relationships with influential government stakeholders and local community leaders.
- Monitor and analyze government policies and legislation that may impact the organization.
- Organize or support meetings and community events to reinforce the company's commitment as a responsible community partner.
- Provide accurate and timely reports, insights, and advice on local political matters.
- Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:

- Proficiency in both Thai and English
- Strong project management skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and advantageous public policy experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive diplomacy.
- Ability to comprehend and influence intricate situations and decision-makers.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with and interest in energy, economics, the environment, and government relations.
- Highly developed cultural sensitivity, a collaborative team player capable of working across departments.
- Aptitude for problem-solving, conflict resolution, and handling a wide range of complex issues autonomously.
