**Role Scope**
As IT Security Officer, you will participate in the IT Security Team and will be accountable for all security-related compliance and delivery domains to protect our business on several fields. This is a IT Security risk management role with the goal by reducing the effects of any security breaches and security incidents.
You operate as a trusted advisor in the organization, working with (senior) management and focusing specifically on the IT security environment. The IT Security Officer helps understand operational issues and will develop, implement and test information security measures.
You will be able to demonstrate industry expertise and understanding of the security governance and compliance.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- Is protecting Sirius organization's computing infrastructure from an IT Security operations point of view.
- Strong leadership on IT Security delivery level by decreasing non-compliances in collaboration with the IT
- department.
- Manage deliverables with the goal that data remain secure and from compliance point of view to ensure that Sirius
- complies with its outside regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security and implement data security measures
- Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats
- Assisting in vulnerability management and penetration tests to find any flaws and mitigation
- Perform security risk assessments
- Assisting in user access management (logical and physical),
- Assisting IT department in security incident management and disaster recovery (and tests).
- Educating colleagues about Information security best practices (e.g. by security awareness training)
- Develop, review, and modify information security and privacy policies. Design and execute audit procedures to
- assess and measure company compliance with its security policies and procedures. Monitor advancements in
- information privacy laws to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance
**Qualifications**
- infrastructure and IT security
- Proven experience with systems integrations, cloud and on-premise environments across different technology
- stacks, cloud integration, containers.
- In-dept knowledge of network/interconnectivity architecture and security management integrated with Identity
- Management and Data protection, high availability and Disaster Recovery.
- Good knowledge of core infrastructure technologies like Linux, MS Windows servers, LDAP or MS Active Directory,
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle), monitoring, logging, auditing.
- Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across several
- technologies
- Ability to act with customers and project teams regarding IT Security related information
- Ability to assist in security awareness trainings from an IT Security point of view
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics strongly preferred
- CISSP, CCSK, CISM, CDPSE certification preferred
- You have excellent analytical, technical, communication and presentation skills, in English and / or Thai
- You can lead workshops and write proposals and/or recommendations in these language
