**Job Description**:
We are looking for a hands-on Technical DBA who is technology-oriented, forward-thinking individual, with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Ability to work independently, both on technical & operational aspects is the key.

Job responsibilities:

- Install and maintain database standards and performance of servers.
- Develop processes for optimizing database security and manage database access.
- Performance tuning of database systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Create automation for repeating database tasks.
- Be available for on-call support as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including software, hardware and network configuration.

Key skills
- Strong command of PL/SQL and database tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle database installation, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards.
- Strong network, operation systems (Windows, Linux, VMWare), MS Office or other office software knowledge.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills: English / Thai

Additional skills/qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
- Three to five years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture or related fields.
- Experience of liaising extensively with external (onsite) or internal clients.
- Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB).
- Experience in software implementation projects is preferred.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) is a plus.

Work Environment
- Bangkok office to ensure a collaborative, team approach.
- Ability to work from home in a suitable environment when necessary.
- The role may require work outside of and/or beyond the company’s normal business hours.
