Foster good relations with community leaders and informal influencers.
- Manage daily department operations, including planning and oversight.
- Develop and implement departmental standards.
- Ensure high-quality execution of patrolling, inspections, and escorts.
- Monitor and uphold product and performance standards, taking action as needed.
- Enforce a no-carry policy for firearms and other weapons among staff.
- Supervise emergency drills and training.
- Oversee security personnel layout and training, including leadership training.
- Analyze incoming reports and devise action plans accordingly.
- Maintain loyalty and discipline among security personnel.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures by all security and hotel staff.
- Collaborate with senior hotel staff and other hotels.
- Coordinate with local investigators for handling crimes and accidents.
- Prepare security plans for specific events.
- Demonstrate awareness and adherence to OH&S policies and procedures.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed by direct reports.
- Be knowledgeable about property safety and emergency procedures.
- Take corrective action for hazardous situations and report potential dangers.
- Document security incidents and accidents as per hotel requirements.
