Actuarial Associate

The Role
- Develop professional expertise by progressing towards qualification as an actuary
- Develop technical knowledge and skills in the area you have chosen to focus on deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations
- Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
- Partner with Lead/Senior Associates on client projects by being able to do the following:
+) Provides consulting support to actuarial valuations of employee benefits in accordance with various accounting standards such as IAS19 and ASC715.
+) Prepares actuarial valuation report, including analysis and calculations, and communicate the results to clients, assisting them in understanding the report.
+) Manage clients’ expectation on the timeline of deliverables for the valuation project.
+) Occasionally meet clients for explanation on the valuation process including all the deliverables covered by the valuation project.
+) Develop good working relationship with clients inviting them on WTW seminars and/or surveys and giving them updates on WTW survey results.
+) Support Team Leaders & Consultants on the process related to the documentation of work in accordance with the WTW Professional Excellence standards.
+)Assist on the researching market information and preparation of the presentation material if
needed

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or any other major with significant quantitative course work, and a strong academic record
- Successful completion of one actuarial exam highly preferred (or registered for upcoming exam).
- Thai Nationality
- English fluency
- A leader; proactively takes initiative
- A problem solver; able to identify and solve challenging problems
- Analytical; able to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way
- Experience using software/programming skills to analyze and solve problems
- Good computer literacy especially Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
