**Job description**:

- Design, develop, and deploy financial models and algorithms, leveraging Python and Excel.
- Develop, maintain and manage Python scripts to automate and enhance banking operations, such as data extraction, data manipulation, data analysis, and report generation.
- Review and understand the risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with the automated solutions.
- Utilize Excel/ VBA for data analysis and visualization, creating complex spreadsheets and models, pivot tables, and macros.
- Interact with relational databases using SQL and Python to extract insights and create reports.
- Collaborate with teams to understand their needs, design effective solutions, and ensure the implementation of those solution.
- Keep update of new technologies and trends in the programming and financial industry.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues in Python scripts, VBA and Excel macros, ensuring they function smoothly.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Python programmer, VBA programmer or Full Stack developer.
- Strong knowledge of Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib.
- Solid background in advanced Excel functionalities including VBA, macros, and complex formulas with SQL and database management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
