Bim Manager

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and implement operational training for architects and engineers on BIM Software, Revit, including regular refresher training and system updates, as well as pre-employment BIM/Revit technical testing to help select new employees and test current employee competence.
- Establish and implement a BIM file management system, and ensure it's maintained and monitored regularly for standardization, accuracy, and effective file management.
- Review and suggest ways to improve Design's quality management.
- Organize and maintain a library of BIM components and details to optimize design team efficiency as well as manage and schedule all printing activities for projects.
- Provide information on software alternatives and upgrades and assist with IT to ensure licensing compliance.
- Forecast and evaluate material and equipment needs to maintain adequate resources.
- Liaise with the IT department to ensure adequate server network mapping, access permissions, and disaster recovery and backups to ensure design business continuity.

**Education**
- Degree qualifications or technical qualifications in architecture, engineering or drafting.

**Experience and Skills**
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage filing, scheduling and the time of others to meet project requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of information technology systems and software for design including: network mapping; AutoCAD; Revit; Microsoft Suite, with the ability to be able to advise others on the most efficient and effective use and ensuring knowledge is maintained at a high level.
- Advanced presentation and communication skills with the ability to develop and lead training sessions ensuring learning outcomes are met.
